Omaggio al Maestro ERNESTO GENNARO SOLFERINO, Chiesa del Cristo Re, 21 maggio, ore 19,00, Brindisi

Domenica 21 maggio 2023, si svolge a Brindisi, una manifestazione in memoria del Maestro Gennaro Solferino (1946-2023), sicuramente in un clima di mestizia e di stupore per l’arte che egli ci ha lasciato a imperitura memoria; un artista unico nel coniugare iperrealismo e atmosfere caravaggesche, impastando nei suoi dipinti forme, luci, ombre, prospettive, volti, con una forza che attrae l’osservatore e lo carica di un brivido di bellezza, quasi infiammandolo di tremore nell’animo.
Esemplificativo della sua potenza espressiva è il dipinto “Morte di Pietro”, in cui i volti, l’afflizione, i corpi, il buio sono di una bellezza raccapricciante. Il nero oltre a ritagliare le quinte della scena, attraversa i corpi rappresentati, innalzando l’enfasi della sofferenza. Un capolavoro donato a eterna memoria all’umanità.
L’adunata è prevista presso la chiesa del Cristo Re di Brindisi, in cui sono ospitate opere donate dalla “Casaccia”, l’Associazione artistica del Maestro.
Dopo la funzione religiosa, alle ore 20:00, ci saranno una serie di interventi che racconteranno la vita di Gennaro Solferino e saranno letti anche dei pensieri critici di Giulio C. Argan, Alfonso Gatto, Luigi Carluccio e altri.
