Peggy e il nonno oggi vanno a fare una passeggiata nel bosco. Ci sono così tante cose da vedere! Le gambe di Peggy sono velocissime, quelle del nonno invece vanno molto più lentamente. “Andiamo, andiamo” ripete Peggy, eccitatissima da tutte queste esplorazioni. Quando però comincia a piovere e la stanchezza si fa sentire, sarà una fortuna poter contare sulle lunghe gambe lente del nonno, che la riportano sempre a casa.
La narrazione è lineare, con uno sviluppo facile da seguire per i lettori più piccoli, mentre le illustrazioni, sempre spiritose e fresche, accompagnano la lettura delle immagini con alcuni accorgimenti: figure rappresentate per intero, emozioni chiaramente leggibili, fondo bianco per far risaltare i personaggi e il loro contesto di azione.
